The Android x86 Project gave the Answer for people who hopes to run android in their PC’s. The Android x86 project succeed to install android on Intel & AMD Processes.The project began as a series of patches to the Android source code to enable Android to run on various netbooks, tablets and ultra-mobile PC.

Chih-Wei Huang and Yi Sun originated the project in 2009. Yi Sun then quit due to personal affairs. Chih-Wei Huang is the current project maintainer.

Android-x86 is an unofficial initiative to port Google’s Android mobile operating system. This is an open source project licensed under Apache Public License 2.0. Some components are licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL) 2.0 or later.

How To Install…?

There are Few Easy Steps to Continue to install Android x86. Also you can Install Android x86 with your windows OS by the Dual Boot setting. As other Operating Systems This OS also came in ISO Mode. You can Burn or Criate a USB disk of Android x86. I Guide you how to Install this with Dual Boot method.
Also the CD or USB can be used as Live OS.

STEP 1
Download the ISO file from the distributor’s Suite ( http://www.android-x86.org ) or Here.
STEP 2
Burn ISO with a Burning software or Create an Installation Media.
STEP 3
Boot Your PC with the CD or USB you created.
STEP 4
Select ” Install android to Hard Disk ” at the setup.
STEP 5
You have to create an External Partition for the Android Os you installed. So in the OS you are using you can Create an empty partition to install Android or You can create the Partition at the setup.
STEP 6
After selecting the Partition you will ask to Format the partition you created. So My Recommend is to choose NTFS file system. You can change it according to your vision.
STEP 7
Then the installer will ask that ” Do You want to Install Boot Loader for GRUB ? ”
IMPORTANT |
If you are using this with windows Choose —–> Yes
If you are using Linux Operating System Choose-> No
STEP 8
After Several Times the Installer will Finish….Done…! Press Reboot…!
